Claudio Sanchez is the brain child, and creative force, behind rockers, Coheed and Cambria, as well as his own solo projects.  He is also an accomplished comic book writer.  Like his music, which tells a story, his comic books are an extension of that.
His first comic, Second Stage Turbine Blade was 2 issues long and is near impossible to find.  This was followed by the Good Apollo IV Graphic Novel.
Teaming up with 12 gauge studios they produced the Amory Wars Sketchbook.  That was followed by The Amory Wars Vol 1 Mini Series, a trade paperback collection of that and then The Amory Wars Vol 2 Mini-Series.  That has not been collected into trade paperback yet.
Kill Audio was his next project.  Originating as a webcomic it was put into print by Image Comics in their Pop-Gun Anthology Vol 2.  This was more a teaser than anything, giving way to his newest series, Kill Audio.
Kill Audio is a 6 issue limited series from Evil Ink and Boom Studios.  We are proud to have produced our own limited edition variant cover for each issue of the Kill Audio Series.  You can order them here, 1 at a time, or order the whole series at once.

UNDERSTANDING THE WORLD OF COMIC BOOKS
Is the world of comic books completely foreign to you?  At Jetpack Comics we want to make it as easy as possible for you to jump into Stephen King's new presentation of his world!  Below we've provided some insight and definition so you can know exactly what is available to you.  Once you've gone through it all please feel free to ask us any questions that may be unclear to you.  If you don't live in the comic book world, like we do,  it can be very confusing.  We'll try to make it easier!

Not sure where to start?  If you haven't purchased any comic books then we suggest the sets.  Sets give you everything you need to get started in the comic book collecting world.  We've several listed so read through and see what may interest you.

******************************************

First Printing - Just like books, comic books can have multiple printings.  In most cases, the first printing is the most desirable for a collection, but it is not always the most valuable.  With each printing the qty printed reduces, making the subsequent printings harder to find.  It is not unheard of to find the second or third printing of a comic book approaching the value of the first printing.  In some cases it may be worth more than the first printing.  In most cases, the additional printings will carry some new material (cover, interior pages) to make it attractive to those that already have an earlier printing.

Variant - The word variant is used to describe an intentional difference in a comic book.  While multiple printings are called variants, there are often variants produced at the same time as a regular issue.  For example, each issue of the STAND & Treachery  will have a regular first printing edition as well as a 1/25 variant edition (also a first printing) and a 1/75 or 1/50 variant edition (still first printings).  The 1/25(50)(75) is the production ratio.  1 of the variant is produced for every 25(50)(75) of the regular first print cover.  This means a comic book retailer has to purchase 25(50)(75) copies of the regular edition to buy 1 of this special variant, hence the significant price difference (that 1 represents an initial retail value of 25(50)(75) times the retail value of the regular edition but often skyrockets to multiple times more the value due to the low production).  At one point the Gunslinger Born Sketch Variant had peaked at about $200 per copy.  It has since leveled off and declined some but over time, the sketch covers will prove to be the hardest to obtain and the most valuable of the entire run of Stephen King comic books.

Limited Edition - Used in reference to many different aspects of comic books, prints, posters, etc, it signifies that the qty produced was a predetermined finite amount.  We are not always told what that qty may be.

Exclusive - This term is used to signify that an item was produced for some specific use, company or meeting.  Generally these items were not available for mass market consumption, though eventually most of them make it to market on their own.

Yes, it is possible to have (and happens often) an exclusive, limited edition, variant, first (second, third) printing.

Comic Book Hard Cover / trade / collection - Almost all stories, in comic book form, are told in arcs.  Kind of a self contained story of several chapters (issues). While there are often underlying plot lines an arc generally follows one major plot line from start to resolution (of some type).  While this is not always the case the three terms above will always be an item that collects a number of comic book issues in one book like volume.

The Amory Wars, originally called the Bag On Line Adventures, is a series of comic books written by Coheed and Cambria frontman Claudio Sanchez and published by Evil Ink Comics. The storyline used in The Amory Wars is also the focus of the band's music, each album released by the band representing a corresponding chapter in the five part science fiction concept originally narrated by Sanchez's lyrics. The installments published thus far are The Second Stage Turbine Blade (originally planned to be released in serial parts), which has two issues illustrated by artist Wes Abbot (currently on hiatus) and tells approximately the first third of Chapter 2, and the graphic novel Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness illustrated by Christopher Shy, which tells the story of the first volume of Chapter 4. The first issue of The Second Stage Turbine Blade is now out of print, and the second is in limited supply. The Good Apollo graphic novel is still currently in print in large supply. Recently, The Amory Wars Sketchbook, an intro piece, has been sold in limited release.

In a recent interview, Claudio explained that the whole series will be re-done chronologically. Gus Vasquez, the illustrator of the Amory War Sketchbook, will presumably illustrate the series. Claudio said that the band did not have the money or "pull" to get either the Second Stage Turbine Blade completed, release Good Apollo in completion (Claudio said that they had to remove parts of the story because of financial constraints), or release anything for In Keeping Secrets. Now that the band has the ability to release the comics properly, they have started from scratch. A Second Stage Turbine Blade piece will be released in June 2007 according to a post on the band's official site.
