THE DAY IS ALMOST UPON US - Everything is in the works!  Marvel Exclusive Writer Christos Gage has joined the fray for Free Comic Book Day!  Christos is the writer of Avengers Academy and has dozens of works to his credit, including episodes of Law & Order!  You know he must be good if Marvel is keeping him all to themselves!  We'll have a limited number of his Gi Joe #1 Hundred Penny Press edition available so come early!

THE STAR WARS 501st RETURNS FOR PHOTO OPS & MORE - Once again there will be photo ops for you with some of your favorite Star Wars characters.  Located at the Knights of Columbus hall, you can a variety of costumed characters on stage and have your photo taken with them. All proceeds from the photos go to the Make a Wish Foundation!  Watch for a special appearance by Captain Jack Sparrow whose new movie premiere's in May!

Joining us for Free Comic Book Day is Eisner Nominated scripter, Jason Ciaramella!  Jason worked with Joe on The Cape as well as Kodiak!

Meet staff and riders from Rye Airfield (it's the premiere bike and skateboard park in New England) in the Union Street Parking Lot on Free Comic Book Day.  Check out their "Get On Board program" for kids, where they can learn to skate.  There will also have a build a board area as well.

FREE COMIC BOOK DAY AT JETPACK COMICS!
It's that time of year again and the FIFTH official Free Comic Book for Jetpack Comics. So much fun and excitement and  we're sharing it with all of Rochester. Once again we're turning it into a giant Festival taking place all over town.  There will be guests at special locations, along with hundreds of Freebies and costumed characters.  Get special items from one of the many creators and visit a variety of shops in town to pick up additional free comics. 

10:00 am - The Doors open at all the venues.  Currently we'll have creators, vendors and guests at the Knights of Columbus Hall.  Be sure to stop by Jetpack Comics to pick up your map and list of participating businesses.  Of course Jetpack Comics will have hundreds of free comics to choose from and special offers!

You want to get here early so you don't miss out on the fun and swag.

FREE COMIC BOOK DAY LIMITS @ Jetpack Comics - Please take your time to choose the comics and freebies that are of interest to you. There is a strict 3 FREEBIE per person or 6 FREEBIE per family limit. We're really strict about the limits.  Last year we ran out of books too early.
