Be a part of the Rochester, NH Free Comic Book Day Festival! Saturday May 7th from 10 am to 4 pm
Businesses and vendors of all types are invited to set up at this Rochester Main Street event!

The city of Rochester is unique in that Free Comic Book Day is promoted as a city-wide festival. Last year the Rochester Free Comic Book Day Festival had an estimated attendance of over 3000 people, representing over 900 families. 

Jetpack Comics LLC, the Rochester Main Street Association and FCBD Silver Sponsor, Simply Green Biofuels (www.seacoastbiofuels.com), invite you to come to Rochester, NH on Saturday, May 7th to set up in the Creator/ Vendors Hall for New England’s largest Free Comic Book Day Event.

This year we are offering four types of participation in the hall. All proceeds go to the Rochester Main Street Association, a non-profit organization, and the promotion of the event. Designed to get people into downtown Rochester it is a day of fun and excitement for all that attend.

Creators – $10 per space (aprx 4’ x 30” = aprx ½ an 8’ table). Artists, writers, and creators of any type can rent a creator space. Creators are welcome to sell and promote their projects. Last year we were able to provide everyone a full 8’ table. Plan on 4’ but bring enough to fill 8. It is encouraged, but not required, that creators provide some type of give-away to maintain the spirit of the day! *In addition to the FCBD event artstream gallery will be hosting a month long show feature comic style illustrating. All creators are welcome to submit works for the event. Creators that can not attend Free Comic Book Day may also submit works for consideration. Do not feel that you can only submit pin-up and sequential work. The artstream gallery is looking for any works that have some type of representation of the comic book world. Please note that the gallery show will be a selling as well as showing event and gallery commissions will apply. Please contact Ralph (jpcomics@worldpath.net) for details! Business Promotion – $25 per table (aprx 8’ x 30”). Businesses can be a part of the event promoting their goods and services. These tables are for businesses that want to promote their location but will not be selling merchandise. It is encouraged, but not required, that businesses provide some type of give-away to maintain the spirit of the day! Businesses from any community are welcome to participate. Be sure to contact our Main Street Office to find out how you can work with them, for other future events.

Rochester Residents Swap Meet - $25 per table (aprx 8’ x 30”) limited to 1 table per family. New for 2011! This is the perfect place for you to sell off those treasures you’ve been hording. With so many people in one place why not try your hand at selling. If you find yourself successful at it, and enjoy it, you might consider renting a space at the Union Street Antique Shop or Happy Pappy’s Country Store for year round business. 

Vendor Tables - $50 per table (aprx 8’ x 30”). Come and sell whatever you want. Comic Books, toys, knick knack and paraphernalia. With hundreds to thousands of people attending who knows what you could sell. Vendors are anyone selling an array or variety of products. It is encouraged, but not required, that vendors provide some type of give-away to maintain the spirit of the day! BUY 2 tables and get a third for FREE!

Food Vendors – Free Comic Book Day takes place all over Rochester. Thousands of people spending their day visiting Rochester and walking about the city. Interested in selling food to the masses? Please contact Mike Provost at the Rochester Main Street Association for details - director@rochestermainstreet.org . Food vendors will be required to obtain the proper permits, for the event, as well as paying the Food Vendor Fee.

If you would like to attend, please let us know as soon as possible and please let us know asap. The Table size is 2.5’ x 8’. Be sure to bring a table cover if you want one! We are selling spaces as well, so once the space is full we won’t be able to accommodate any others. Let us know ASAP. 

The event takes place from 10 am to 4 pm. Set up begins at 9 am at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
Please confirm your attendance as soon as possible. We’ve got plenty of space right now but we need to hear back from you to confirm your attendance!
